Known issues

In this thread, we will discuss issues that the WoW Forever team have determined to be notable, impactful, and already tracked with plans to fix in the future. This is not a comprehensive list of issues, and it will be updated regularly.

Dungeons

In Razorfen Kraul, there’s a cauldron near Roogug that players can fall into and get stuck.

Gamepad

An error may be generated when attempting to delete more than 1 rare or epic item.
Instructions for the push-to-talk keyboard button may be unintentionally displayed when joining a voice channel.

NPCs

PvP Vendors are temporarily unavailable in all locations (Orgrimmar, Stormwind, and Dalaran).
Stormwind guards incorrectly direct players to Fyrenz Stagazer for Transmogrification. The correct name of the NPC is Fyrenz Vishonar.

Quests

~~“Vorsha the Lasher” in Ashenvale has been disabled until a bug causing a crash can be fixed.~~ resolved

User Interface

Bank pages are displaying in pages, causing the tabs to be listed outside the frame.

World

The entrance of Stormwind Keep may not look as intended, including unintended flashing textures.

Enemies and NPCs

Durotar - Fixed an issue where Yarrog Baneshadow was respawning more slowly than intended.
Zephras - Lotheluum Starbreeze now offers training to Druids as expected.
Dustwallow Marsh - Fixed an issue where some murlocs in Dustwallow Marsh were respawning too quickly.
Swamp of Sorrows - Fixed an issue where Pelluk would sometimes not spawn.

Items

Fixed an issue where trade supply vendors on Zephras Isle didn’t sell apprentice tradeskill bags.
Mild Spices now sell to vendors for 1 copper each (was 2 copper).

Player versus Player

Fixed an issue where Plainsrunning could be stacked in a battleground’s preparation phase.
Plainsrunning can no longer stack and stacks will be cancelled when carrying a flag in a battleground.

Quests

Fixed an issue with incorrect text in “The Sisterhood of Elune”.
Deathstalker Erland respawns much more quickly for the quest “Escorting Erland”.

Where does Blizzard post WoW Forever hotfixes?

As staff posts in the WoW: Forever section of the official World of Warcraft forums (“WoW: Forever Hotfixes – <date>”), with a separate “Known Issues” thread that is edited as problems are fixed. This page collects both and links every entry to its post.

Do hotfixes need a client download?

Most do not: hotfixes change the game on Blizzard’s servers. Changes that need new client files ship as a new client build; those are on our datamined patch-notes page.
