WoW Forever glossary
Only the words that are new in Forever — systems, factions and mechanics that did not exist in Classic — each defined from Blizzard’s own announcement and linked to it.
- Al’AkethBlizzard
- The third group contesting Zephras Isle, alongside the Windshapers and the High Order.
- Basic CampfireBlizzard
- The renamed Cooking Fire. Placing one creates a campsite that holds up to three crafted objects from nearby players, each giving a one-hour buff once you sit by the fire.
- BlueprintBlizzard
- An advanced profession recipe dropped by specific dungeon bosses, including advanced campsite objects.
- Classic ModeBlizzard
- A launch option that turns off transmog automatically when you enter the world.
- Durotar Supply and LogisticsBlizzard
- The Horde counterpart to the Azeroth Commerce Authority.
- Field of HonorBlizzard
- The PvP season journey: weekly quests, of which weeks 4, 7 and 10 count towards Legacy.
- Forsaken KingdomBlizzard
- A Warcraft III: Reforged campaign in the Warcraft Forever Collection. Forever is set after it and before Molten Core.
- Found photographsBlizzard
- Blizzard’s term (from Chris Metzen) for new stories designed to feel as if they had always been in Classic Azeroth.
- High OrderBlizzard
- Alliance-aligned Skyborne. Can play Mage.
- Invite-A-Friend Launch CodeBlizzard
- Lets an invitee play Forever from 4 to 11 November without a subscription. Codes are emailed from 20 October and exclude beta access.
- Legacy PointBlizzard
- Usually first earned when a character reaches level 25 — or skill 150 in a non-gathering profession, or after exploring the whole world map.
- Legacy SystemBlizzard
- Account-wide progression: 65 Legacy Challenges in six categories each give one Legacy Point, spent per character in the Professions, Adventure and Resourcefulness trees (16 points per character at launch).
- Merchant’s FavorBlizzard
- The currency paid by the two tradeskill factions. The Legacy perk Performance Bonus sometimes pays extra.
- RealmlessBlizzard
- Characters choose a ruleset, not a realm. Two-part names are unique per region.
- RulesetBlizzard
- Replaces realm choice: Normal, PvP, Roleplaying, and Hardcore after launch. Each is one large ecosystem; you cannot group across rulesets.
- Shen’doreiBlizzard
- The Skyborne’s own name — “hidden people” — Highborne exiles who built a civilisation in Skywall.
- SkyborneBlizzard
- The new playable race. Starts on Zephras Isle (levels 1–12); faction is chosen at creation.
- Two-part nameBlizzard
- A first and a second name; the combination is unique within a region. The second name can be hidden in the world but shows in chat.
- Waylaid CratesCommunity
- World-drop crates you fill with profession materials and turn in for Merchant’s Favor; the successor to Season of Discovery’s Waylaid Supplies. Details are from beta data, not a Blizzard article.
- WindshapersBlizzard
- Horde-aligned Skyborne. Can play Shaman.

Before you buy anything for Forever
Levelling 1–60 takes about 150 hours of play by community estimates, and Blizzard has announced no WoW Token and no paid boost for Forever. These are the prices other sellers are already taking pre-orders at.
Market prices: pre-order listings on lfcarry.com, wowvendor.com, skycoach.gg, kingboost.net and others, checked 2 October 2026. Our own rates go up when realms open — no one can deliver Forever gold before 4 November.
