Legacy FAQ

How many Legacy points can one character use in WoW Forever?

At launch each character can spend up to 16 Legacy points. Points are account-wide, but every character spends them separately.

How do you earn Legacy points?

From 65 Legacy Challenges, one point each: 27 for reaching level 25, 45 and 60 on each class, 18 for profession milestones, 12 from PvP, 3 from dungeons, 3 from raids and 2 from exploration. A single character can earn up to 29 points without alts.

What are the best Legacy perks for levelling an alt?

In the Adventure tree: Well Rested (faster rested XP and a higher cap), Thrill of Adventure (health and mana back on kills) and, after 5 points in the tree, Talented — talent points from as early as level 5. Frequent Flier opens after 10 points.

Do Legacy perks work in Hardcore?

Legacy points are available to all non-Hardcore characters. Hardcore has its own Legacy Challenges, and PvP challenges cannot be completed there.
