Is WoW Forever the same as WoW Classic?
No. Blizzard calls it “not a mode, a season, or a new version of Classic”. It starts from vanilla Azeroth at level 60 but adds a new race, four zones, nine dungeons, new raids, reworked classes and talents, an account-wide Legacy system and realmless rulesets.
Will WoW Classic Era continue after Forever launches?
Blizzard describes Forever as a new home “alongside modern and Classic WoW”. It has not announced closing any existing Classic version.
Do I need a separate subscription for Forever and Classic?
No. Forever is included with a World of Warcraft subscription or Game Time, the same one that covers Classic and modern WoW. Only the Skyborne race needs an extra pack.
