Only what is new or different from Classic Era: items, talents, recipes, zones, dungeons and quests, read straight from the Forever client and rebuilt for every new build. Classic items that did not change are left out on purpose.

How the database is built
We download the Forever client’s data tables (items, spells, talents, recipes, areas, dungeons, quests) for every new build and the same tables from Classic Era 1.15.9.70003, then keep only rows that are new or different. Forever stores item stats as shares of an item-level budget; we turn them into numbers with the client’s own budget table, and treat a difference of one point as rounding, not a change.
Not in client data: quest titles and text, drop tables, vendor stock and anything else the server decides. Those will be added only when they can be confirmed in game. Last rebuilt 21 October 2026.

What is new in WoW Forever compared with Classic?
Reading the Forever client (build 1.60.1.70532) against Classic Era 1.15.9.70003: 4,894 items that Classic does not have (359 of them epic gear), 935 Classic items with a new item level, required level, quality or stats, 1,811 new quest IDs, 940 new profession recipes, 35 reworked talents, 4 new zones and 41 new mounts.
Where does this data come from?
From the game data tables shipped with the WoW Forever client, exported by wago.tools, compared with the same tables from Classic Era. We do not copy other databases. Anything decided on Blizzard’s servers — drop tables, quest text, vendor stock — is not in the client, so it is not shown as fact here.
How often is it updated?
Every time a new Forever client build appears. A script checks daily, rebuilds the comparison and writes patch notes for the new build, so the pages follow the client within a day — including launch day, 4 November 2026.
