Leveling · Feral · 0/35/16
Feral cat leveling
A Cat Form questing build with Restoration points for self-healing between fights. You open from Prowl, build combo points with Claw or Shred, finish with Rip, and shift out to heal when needed.
- Feral Swiftness raises Cat Form speed indoors and out and adds Dodge, and Feral Charge gives a gap closer.
- Furor restores Energy when you shift back into Cat Form after healing, and Natural Shapeshifter makes the shifts cheaper.
- Naturalist increases all damage you deal and speeds up Healing Touch; Natural Instinct adds healing from Intellect.
- Shifting Power (16 points, needs Shredding Attacks) converts mana into Energy on a cooldown.
- Rend and Tear boosts damage on bleeding targets, and Berserk at 31 points is a burst and anti-Fear tool.
Suggested order: Ferocity and Heart of the Wild, then Feral Charge and Feral Swiftness, Shifting Power by its row, and Restoration points last.
Raid DPS · Feral · 11/40/0
Feral cat raid DPS
The level-60 Cat Form damage build. You keep bleeds up, use Shred from behind, and spend Shifting Power on cooldown for extra Energy, which replaces old powershifting.
- Shifting Power and Improved Shifting Power turn mana into Energy on a shorter cooldown, the main resource tool for cats.
- Berserk (31 points) doubles the crit chance of combo-point builders for 15 sec, and Blood Frenzy can add an extra combo point on those crits.
- Leader of the Pack gives your group melee and ranged crit, and Rend and Tear boosts damage on bleeding targets.
- Savage Fury, Natural Instinct and Sharpened Claws add damage and crit damage to Claw, Rake and Shred.
- Nature's Reach in Balance adds hit chance; Nature's Majesty adds melee crit.
Raid DPS · Balance · 41/0/10
Balance (Moonkin) DPS
The caster DPS build at level 60. You keep Moonfire and Insect Swarm up and alternate Wrath and Starfire, since each Wrath shortens the cast of your next Starfires through Eclipse.
- Moonkin Form (31 points) gives your group spell crit, raises armor and doubles Omen of Clarity procs.
- Eclipse ties Wrath into faster Starfires, and Improved Starfire shortens Starfire further.
- Improved Wrath and Moonglow cut mana costs, which Warcraft Tavern calls key to not running out of mana.
- Insect Swarm, Genesis, Improved Moonfire and Nature's Splendor strengthen and extend your damage over time.
- Vengeance and Moonfury raise crit damage and Arcane and Nature damage; Nature's Focus and Naturalist in Restoration add pushback protection and damage.
Balance had missing pieces during the level-30 beta, so this build may need changes once level-60 play settles.
Tank · Feral · 7/44/0
Feral bear tank
A Bear Form tank for dungeons and raids. Druid bears cannot block or parry, so this build stacks armor, Dodge and Stamina, and uses Primal Bite and Lacerate for threat.
- Primal Bite (16 points, needs Savage Fury) is the high-threat strike that replaces Mangle, and Berserk at 31 points lets it hit up to 3 targets with no cooldown.
- Natural Reaction adds Dodge and a chance to gain Rage on each dodge; Blood Frenzy adds Rage on Bear Form crits.
- Thick Hide adds base armor in forms, and Heart of the Wild raises Bear Form Stamina.
- Feral Charge gives an interrupt and a way to reach casters, and Leader of the Pack buffs the group's crit.
- Nature's Reach in Balance adds hit chance, which keeps threat steadier.
Furor in Restoration is an alternative to the Balance points if you prefer Rage on shifting over hit chance.
Healer · Restoration · 11/0/40
Restoration healer
A HoT-based healer for raids and dungeons. You keep Rejuvenation and Regrowth rolling, use Wild Growth on the party taking damage, and Swiftmend or Nature's Swiftness for spikes.
- Wild Growth (31 points, needs Living Spirit) puts a fast front-loaded HoT on the target's whole party.
- Gift of the Earthmother shortens the global cooldown on Rejuvenation, Swiftmend and Wild Growth, and Swiftmend no longer consumes the HoT.
- Reflection keeps part of your mana regeneration going while casting, and Living Spirit adds Spirit.
- Improved Tranquility removes Tranquility's threat and cuts its cooldown, so it is usable in more fights.
- Nature's Splendor in Balance extends Rejuvenation and Regrowth, and Genesis increases all periodic healing.
Reaching Nature's Splendor costs a few Balance points with no healing value (Moonglow here).
How these builds are made
We start from the builds Classic players know for each role, then rebuild them on the Forever trees from the launch client (build 1.60.1.70707), where many talents were renamed, moved or changed. Every build is checked for the Classic rules: 51 points, 5 points per row, prerequisites. They are starting points, not tested rankings; adjust them to your gear and group.Answers
