Warrior in WoW Forever

Rage is rebuilt from the ground up, the big three cooldowns stop sharing a timer, and weapon specialisations collapse into one talent.

Baseline changes — every Warrior

These apply regardless of how you spend talent points.

  • Victory Rush icon
    NewVictory Rush

Level 20. Instant attack healing 10% of maximum health, available for 20 seconds after killing a non-trivial enemy, 30-second cooldown.

  • Tactical Mastery icon
    NewTactical Mastery

Learned at level 14 as a baseline ability: keep 10 rage when changing stance, improvable with Arms talents.

  • Rage from damage taken icon
    ChangedRage from damage taken

Calculated ignoring armour, as though you always had 50% damage reduction, and ignoring absorbs like Power Word: Shield. Tanking no longer starves you for rage as your gear improves.

  • Rage from dealing damage icon
    ChangedRage from dealing damage

Fully normalised to weapon speed. Critical strikes give 75% more rage than normal hits.

  • Recklessness, Retaliation, Shield Wall icon
    ChangedRecklessness, Retaliation, Shield Wall

No longer share a cooldown with each other. Retaliation and Shield Wall drop to 15 minutes.

  • Thunder Clap icon
    ChangedThunder Clap

Scales with Attack Power and works in Defensive Stance. Cooldown up to 6 seconds, threat reduced.

  • Rend icon
    ChangedRend

Gains significant Attack Power scaling — it stops being a levelling-only ability.

Arms

DPS

Four weapon specialisations become one, and Rend finally has a payoff.

  • NewWeaponmaster

Row 5. Replaces all four weapon specialisations; the benefit changes with what you hold — crit for axes and polearms, armour penetration for maces and staves, extra auto-attacks for swords.

  • NewSpearing Strike

16-point talent. 15 rage, 20-second cooldown, dismounts, and hits mounted, Dragonkin and Giant targets for double.

  • NewBloodthrill

Row 5. Main-hand hits on a bleeding target can light up Overpower for 6 seconds.

  • Improved Slam icon
    ChangedImproved Slam

Moved over from Fury into Arms row 6, reduced to 2 points, and no longer delays your auto-attack.

  • Axe, Mace, Sword, Polearm Specialization icon
    RemovedAxe, Mace, Sword, Polearm Specialization

All four gone, replaced by Weaponmaster.

Fury

DPS

Bloodthirst stops healing you and starts moving you; Enrage and Death Wish are rebuilt.

  • NewRaging Blows

16-point talent. Whirlwind strikes with both weapons while dual-wielding, and Cleave costs less rage.

  • NewBoundless Rage

Row 3. Raises your maximum rage.

  • Precision icon
    NewPrecision

Row 5. Hit chance, the stat Fury always had to find elsewhere.

  • Bloodthirst icon
    ChangedBloodthirst

No longer heals. Grants 10% movement speed for 10 seconds instead, with damage retuned.

  • Enrage icon
    ChangedEnrage

Redesigned to have a chance to trigger from any damage taken.

  • Death Wish icon
    ChangedDeath Wish

Now increases damage taken rather than stripping armour and resistances.

  • Improved Demoralizing Shout, Improved Battle Shout icon
RemovedImproved Demoralizing Shout, Improved Battle Shout

Both baked into the baseline shouts.

Blocking becomes a real rage engine, and Charge finally works in Defensive Stance.

  • NewVanguard

16-point talent. Charge usable in Defensive Stance.

  • NewMaster of Defense

Row 3, behind Shield Specialization. Five rage whenever you dodge or parry with a shield.

  • NewBastion

Row 5. More damage while a shield is equipped.

  • Focused Rage icon
    NewFocused Rage

Row 6. Offensive abilities cost less rage.

  • Shield Specialization icon
    ChangedShield Specialization

Five rage per block instead of one. This single change is most of why Protection rage feels different.

  • Improved Shield Wall icon
    ChangedImproved Shield Wall

Redesigned to cut the Shield Wall cooldown heavily.

  • Improved Shield Block, Improved Taunt icon
    RemovedImproved Shield Block, Improved Taunt

    Both baseline now.

Levelling a Warrior to 60

About 150 hours of play for a first character by community estimates, and Blizzard has announced no WoW Token or paid boost for Forever. If the Warrior changes above are why you are rolling one, this is what skipping the climb costs on the pre-order market.

Market prices: pre-order listings on lfcarry.com, wowvendor.com, skycoach.gg, kingboost.net and others, checked 2 October 2026. Our own rates go up when realms open — no one can deliver Forever gold before 4 November.
