Fire changes

  • NewHeating Up

Row 4, requires Pyroblast. Direct crits from Fireball, Frostfire Bolt, Fire Blast and Scorch cut the next Pyroblast cast by 25%, stacking 3 times to a 1.5-second cast.

  • Ignite icon
    ChangedIgnite

A separate debuff per Mage instead of one shared one, with timing fixed so close crits are not lost.

  • ChangedWake of Fire

Was Improved Fire Blast, now row 1. Shorter Fire Blast cooldown, and kills give the next Fire Blast a large crit bonus.

  • ChangedIncineration

Was Incinerate, now row 1. Also adds crit to Ice Lance and Arcane Blast.

  • ChangedImproved Fireball

Also shortens the Frostfire Bolt cast.

  • Improved Scorch icon
    ChangedImproved Scorch

The debuff only benefits the Mage who applied it.

  • ChangedBlast Wave

    No longer requires Pyroblast.

  • ChangedImpact and Burning Soul

Impact triggers less from low-rank spells; Burning Soul now takes 3 points.

Baseline changes — every Mage

These apply to Fire too, regardless of where talent points go.

  • NewComprehension

A Mage-only minor tradeskill. Comprehend Scroll lets you read and decipher scrolls dropped by creatures.

  • NewFrostfire Bolt

Learned at level 40. A 3-second Fire and Frost hybrid that adds damage over time and a slow, using your better school bonus and the target’s lower resistance.

  • ChangedCone of Cold

Shorter duration, to cut kiting-based farming and boosting.

  • ChangedMage Armor

Larger mana regeneration bonus from Spirit.

  • ChangedMagic Attunement

Now baseline instead of an Arcane talent.

Fire Mage: skip the climb to 60

Levelling 1–60 takes about 150 hours of play by community estimates, and Blizzard has announced no WoW Token and no paid boost for Forever. These are the prices other sellers are already taking pre-orders at.

Market prices: pre-order listings on lfcarry.com, wowvendor.com, skycoach.gg, kingboost.net and others, checked 14 October 2026. Our own rates go up when realms open — no one can deliver Forever gold before 4 November.
